What AI is not used for: AI is not treated as a source or as proof of a claim. It is not used to invent sources, fill gaps in evidence, present speculation as fact, impersonate outside experts, or make unsupported predictions. Articles are not published when the evidence path is unclear.
Human review and responsibility: Threadmap News is an AI-assisted publication, with Daniel Mercer as its public editorial identity. The editorial workflow checks source links, evidence boundaries, article structure and public rendering before publication. The site operator remains responsible for the publication, its editorial policy and corrections.
Data and privacy: This editorial workflow is designed around public reporting and public source material. We do not intentionally send visitor messages, customer records, private correspondence, confidential source material or other sensitive personal data to AI services for article production.
